House Impeached President Trump, December 18, 2019

The record will be available for future generations to understand why impeachment was necessary as the only remedy possible to hold a corrupt president accountable under our Constitution, and one step towards preserving our democracy for them.

“Whether Donald Trump leaves in one month, one year or five years, this impeachment is permanent,” Rep Ted Lieu, D-Calif said. “It will follow him around for the rest of his life and history books will record it. People will know why we impeached.”

Sorry but it’s not official until Pelosi sends it to the Senate. I would appreciate it if you published correct information instead of incorrect information.

    1. Thank you for your comment.
It is official whether or not the Senate votes to convict.
In fact, only the House of Representatives can impeach.
The Senate can confirm and take further steps, or acquit the charges,
but the President has still been impeached under the Constitution.

And the Democrats will be remembered also as they go down the next time the polls open! It is amazing what Trump HAS achieved despite the Dems being poor losers since Trumps election. Dems should be known as the party of sore losers! They are pathetic….

    1. Thank you for your comment. The events that have been used in the impeachment proceedings have occurred since President Trump took office and have been documented and supported by those around him during his tenure as President. The Trump policies regarding the climate, civil rights, national security, and many other issues are in contrast to the Democratic Party platform, which you can read on our website, and have resulted in the partisan divide in politics, not because of who won the 2016 election. Parties have gone back and forth in leadership since the creation of our democracy, but very few have caused this extreme contrast in ideals and policies.
